First blog ever! Welcome to the birth of the baby I've been carrying around for years! Aqua started out as a really, really cool dream. I wrote it down and set it aside as I worked on other writing projects and the best project of all-raising my boys. Every now and then Aqua would resurface, demanding some attention, but it wasn't until two years ago that I dusted off the 40 page manuscript I'd fidddled with and dove into finishing this book. Writing AQUA was an amazing experience. There were days where I felt like I lived underwater and I'd have to take a break to come up for air. During those times of concentrated writing, I got to know my characters and it was exciting to find out what was going to happen next. I think that curiosity of what is going to happen is what keeps writers writing and readers reading.
What do you think? This is the fist cover we ever had for AQUA. I took the photo and designed it, my husband formatted it and had it printed for me. <3! It's come a long way since then, and is going to undergo another redesign within the next month, which strangely resembles the first cover concept we had, only much better!
